Just 10 km north of Tremp, or at the other end of the St. Antoni reservoir, lies the small town of La Pobla de Segur, which, not to be outdone, has joined the line started by Lo Podall.
The other riding area it’s just in the other side of the St. Antoni Lake.

In La Pobla, another association called Trenkabikers has taken on the same task in the domains of its municipality. And what can we say about this area? Well, it’s more of the same high quality. Trails of brutal quality have been created.
The area of La Pobla may not be as extensive as its neighbor, but it has 3 well-defined areas:
1. The first area is a wooded area where we can find several blue difficulty trails like the well-known “supermario” or “orugues”. Very fun descents with a lot of dynamism. These descents can also be combined with Mascarell and Madeleine for a bit more action, which are red difficulty trails. These trails are very well crafted within the forest.

2. The second area is De Monsor, this more rocky area gives us access to more difficult descents, red and black trails (Monsor, Queralt, Gramuntill) with more difficult paths that will require all our attention and skill. In this area, we also find American line, cami de la cantera, and Las locas. Of the latest additions, American line is a fairly vertical line but very well worked in terms of curves and small banks, a real descent. Followed by Camí de la cantera, a blue section that will take us to Las locas, the last section also of red difficulty that will leave us on the road.

3. The third area is located opposite the town or on the other side of the river. There we find another combination of spectacular trails, of different difficulty and style. Canarill trail with spectacular aerial views of the reservoir links us to zona block, a red difficulty section that, as the name suggests, is formed by large stone blocks. And to top it off, the Serpenti descent, a section with a moderate slope and somewhat clayey terrain. In short, another sensational combination for continuous enjoyment.

If we don’t want as much action, we can choose in the same area the ortoneda-Llania trail. A good descent of blue difficulty that will leave us practically near the river.
Looking at the map, it is evident that the possibility of choice is extensive depending on what we are looking for, but in any case, the quality of the trails is very good and well crafted.
The combination of the two territories, Tremp and La Pobla de Segur, in Pallars, undoubtedly offers days of mountain biking full of action and fun.
