October, the perfect month for MTB
October is an exceptional month for MTB. With the end of the summer heat, the temperatures become milder and give us an ideal climate to explore and enjoy the mountains to the fullest.
On this occasion, we would like to share with you a graphic summary of our incredible week with our friends from Mallorca, who repeated their visit after last year’s experience. This year, MTBPallars’ proposal was to combine a day of activity in the area of Tremp (@territorilopodall) and La Pobla de Segur (@trenkabikers).
The day began with a strong start in the Santa Engràcia area, where we enjoyed the trails of Roques Pelades, Escorpins, Feixancs, Valkiries, and, of course, a brief but intense stop at the famous Dragon Khan. After a well-deserved lunch break, we moved on in the afternoon to La Pobla de Segur, where we finished off the day exploring the SuperMarioBros, Madeleine and Mascarell descents.
It was a spectacular start to our trip. At the end of the day, we headed to the Aran Valley, where the next stage of the adventure awaited us.
In the Val d’Aran we had the pleasure of covering some of the most emblematic descents, combining them with alpine routes that left us speechless. Among them, we highlight the mythical Entecada route, an experience that takes us into French territory to reach the col from the heights and then enjoy an epic descent of 1,000 metres. This route is impressive not only for its technical demands, but also for the breathtaking scenery and the adrenaline of the descent.
In short, four intense days of MTB, with days of up to 3,000 metres of negative vertical drop and a diversity of terrain that kept the excitement at its peak. Undoubtedly, an experience to repeat and recommend.
