For a few years now, Tremp, a small city and capital of the southern region of Pallars, has been a must-visit destination for riders who enjoy discovering new spots. Bike shuttle. Shuttle pyrenees.
In 2017, the Lo Podall Association was created when a group of friends eager to organize an annual bike ride in the area, the VIBIKE, began cleaning up old roads and trails, with the aim of making the route as attractive as possible. In the following editions of the race, the cleaning and recovery of paths continued, making them more rideable and fun.
This also allowed for the opening of new trails to connect existing ones, always seeking the most interesting routes and landscapes possible.
After 7 years of constant work, the region now boasts a network of simply spectacular trails. Many details have been taken into account, not only in the construction and recovery of paths, but also regarding the environment, fauna, and coexistence with landowners.
The variety of trails that can be found is vast and varied, from blue difficulty singletracks where pedaling is required, to incredible red and black downhill trails. Today, they are already widely known: escolopendra, serengeti, afganistrail, roques pelades, escorpins, maf, ..and many more… not forgetting Dragon Khan Pallares, the most visually stunning and exposed trail in the territory.

Characteristics that would define the network of trails include a variety of terrain, ranging from forested areas, rocky areas, clay, all combined with beautiful scenery, as the reservoir and its blue color always provide a contrast and an escape route for those days when the heat is intense and a dip in the river or reservoir is the best option to enjoy the end of the day. In just 7 years, there has been a real change in the life of the city. MTB is now part of the daily landscape of this small city.
The change is also palpable in terms of the services available to cyclists in Tremp. Most establishments have reached out to cyclists, hotels offer services for them, such as bike storage, maintenance rooms… an extensive list of accommodations and rural houses have made an effort to ensure that cyclists feel comfortable.
